Romancing The Dead
Romancing the Dead (Garnet Lacey, Book 3) by Tate Hallaway
Garnett Lacey is on top of the world. She has a job she loves, the feds and Vatican are no longer following her, and she just got engaged. But things quickly take a turn for the worse. Her fiance, Sebastian, is missing and was last seen in the company of a gorgeous blond. Her soon-to-be stepson, who hates her, is now the only one that can help her find the missing man. Throw in the Goddess Lilith who is making appearances at the wrong time and a crazy shape-shifter and maybe things aren’t looking good for Garnett after all.
This is the third book in the Garnett Lacey series. I enjoyed it, but not as much as the first two books. This book was not as lighthearted and funny as the other two. Also, Garnett was a little wishy-washy, where in the first two books I always thought of her as strong. I think this can be linked to what was happening in the story though. I can’t wait for book 4.
