Where Are You Now?: A Novel Mary Higgins Clark

Carolyn MacKenzie’s brother disappeared when she was 16. Now, 10 years later, he calls on Mother’s Day, just like he has called every year since. This Mother’s Day is different, Carolyn talks back. Telling her brother that she was going to find him sets off a chain of events that Carolyn could have never foreseen.

I love Mary Higgins Clark and this book didn’t disappoint. The tension in this book is palpable. As Carolyn searches for her brother, Mack, you can understand how she must feel after putting her life on hold after her brother left. The only think that bothered me about this book was the dialog didn’t sound much like a 26 year old, it was more like that of a much older and wiser woman.
